Toledo women’s basketball will be without a major piece for at least a couple more weeks as reigning Mid-American Conference Player of the Year Quinesha Lockett has been ruled out until early-to-mid January with a sprained knee.
Lockett, a fifth-year who is averaging 15.3 points, six rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.6 steals, left early in the Rockets’ game at Oakland on Sunday and did not return. She did not play in Wednesday’s loss at Duke.
Lockett has been wearing a brace, and the injury is not expected to keep her out for more than the first few games of conference play.
