Junior Quinesha Lockett had a season-high 30 points to lead the University of Toledo women's basketball team to a 75-53 victory over Loyola (Md.) on Saturday at Savage Arena.
Toledo trailed 28-27 at halftime, but Lockett scored 24 of her points in the second half and the Rockets shot 63 percent from the field over the final two quarters.
Junior Sophia Wiard had 12 points with nine rebounds and seven assists for the Rockets (5-2). Sophomore Nan Garcia and freshman Jessica Cook scored nine points each.
"I'm proud of the way we played today," Toledo coach Tricia Cullop said.
