KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The University of Toledo men's basketball team closed the game on an extended run for a 68-59 win over Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon at University Arena.
The Rockets (13-14, 5-9 MAC) ended the game with a 13-2 surge to get a sweep of the season series against the Broncos.
“This was a much-needed win, and I don’t think we could have played harder,” Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “We had a lot of important contributions from everyone, and it was a really good team win.”
Willie Jackson led five Toledo players in double figures with 19 points and 10 rebounds for his 15th double-double this season.
