ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – The Toledo women's soccer team pulled out a 1-0 win at Oakland, with junior Alli MacBeth's 78th-minute goal standing as the winner at Oakland Soccer Stadium on Sunday.
Toledo (2-3-1) held an 8-4 advantage in shots and 5-1 advantage in corner kicks at halftime. The Rockets then withstood a second-half surge from the Golden Grizzlies (1-5-1) before MacBeth scored unassisted in the 78th minute. After the goal, Oakland took two potential tying shots before the final whistle, but one missed and the other was saved.
