Auburn has a five-shot lead on the field through the bulk of two rounds completed Monday at the Inverness Intercollegiate at Inverness Club.
The Tigers, paced by first-place individual Jackson Koivun, shot team rounds of 271 and 277 to finish 36 of the tournament’s 54 holes at 4-under-par 548. Texas Tech is second at 553, and Oklahoma is third at 554.
Two teams, the University of Toledo and the College of Charleston, did not complete 36 holes of play prior to nightfall. The Rockets sat in eighth at 18 over (1 over for the second round) when play was suspended.
