The first phone call Tricia Cullop made when Nan Garcia entered the transfer portal was to Garcia’s mother.
The Toledo women’s basketball coach expressed how much she wanted Garcia in her program. Not just because she’s a skilled post player. Cullop also wanted Garcia’s jovial, outgoing personality in the locker room.
