CHEROKEE, N.C. — Khera Goss has always been a threat to score on offense.
She was a member of the IndyStar Indiana All-Star team after averaging 15.6 points her senior year at powerhouse Ben Davis High School, ranking in the top 10 on the school’s all-time scoring list.
The perception that defense was Goss’ strong suit came from playing alongside Sophia Wiard and Quinesha Lockett for four years, two elite Mid-American Conference scorers and the past two players of the year. With a new head coach and a starkly different offensive philosophy, Goss has emerged as one of Toledo’s top options.
