TOLEDO, Ohio- The University of Toledo Athletic Department announced on Thursday the addition of Kengo Sugimoto to their athletic training staff. Sugimoto will be working primarily with the football team, as well as with the men's tennis team.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Kengo Sugimoto to our Toledo Sports Medicine Family," said Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine Brian Jones. "Kengo brings a tremendous amount of experience at both the collegiate and professional levels that will no doubt benefit the health care services we provide to our student-athletes."
Sugimoto obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Oregon State University in 2017, where his professional career also started.
