TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo junior infielder Jeron Williams has been named an All-American by Collegiate Baseball, the organization announced on Thursday.
Williams, who earned a second-team selection, is the third Rocket ever to earn All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball, joining Mitch Maier (2003) and Chris Meyers (2021).
The 2023 MAC Player of the Year, Williams recently capped one of the best offensive seasons by a Rocket in program history. He started all 55 games at shortstop and hit .403 with 14 home runs, 48 RBIs, 67 runs scored, 16 doubles, four triples, a .681 slugging percentage, .
