Jerjuan Newton Voted Ironman of the CMU Game

TOLEDO, Ohio - University of Toledo redshirt freshman wide receiver Jerjuan Newton was voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in last Saturday's victory against Central Michigan.

Newton caught three passes for 68 yards on Saturday, including a game-winning 28-yard TD grab from Carter Bradley to give the Rockets a 24-23 win over the Chippewas. With his team trailing 23-17 in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, Newton made an outstanding touchdown catch that proved to be the difference.

Rocket fans can vote online each week throughout the football season for the Iron Workers Local Union No.
