TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo baseball left-handed pitcher Jacob Tabor has been selected to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released on Wednesday.
The sophomore Tabor is coming off of a stellar freshman season in 2024. In 26 appearances out of the bullpen, Tabor pitched 37.2 innings and struck out 39 batters, with an ERA of 3.35 and a .246 opponent batting average.
Tabor earned a pair of postseason awards as a freshman, garnering Second-Team All-MAC and NCBWA Freshman All-American honors.
The NCBWA Stopper of the Year Award honors the top relief pitcher in college baseball.
