TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's volleyball outside hitter Izzy Granger has been named the Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday. This marks Granger's first-ever Scholar Athlete of the Week award.
The junior carries a 3.981 GPA as an early childhood education major. Granger earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC honors during the 2023 season.
Granger earned MVP honors at the Rocket Invitational last week, totaling 41 kills and 35 digs throughout the tournament. The junior outside hitter added five service aces and recorded two consecutive double-doubles against Northern Kentucky and Marshall.
