MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Ever since he put on a University of Toledo jersey for the first time four years ago, senior running back Kareem Hunt has been steadily climbing the program’s all-time rushing list.
In the Camellia Bowl against Appalachian State on Saturday, Hunt has a chance to reach the summit.
Hunt, with his blend of power, vision and speed, needs just 25 yards to pass Chester Taylor (4,849 career yards from 1998-2001) and become the leader in career rushing yards for Toledo.
“It’s huge,” Hunt said. “It’s something that will last forever and it will always be with me.
