The Toledo women’s basketball team lost 12 times in 2020-21, but they ended the year by winning three of their final four games, including a victory over eventual Mid-American Conference tournament champion Central Michigan.
Quinesha Lockett and Sophia Wiard had several individual performances worth watching, and Sammi Mikonowicz, Khera Goss, and Soleil Barnes flashed their potential. But everyone who watched the Rockets play last season knew there were missing parts and deficiencies that needed to be corrected.
