It was UT’s second conference loss, all but extinguishing its chances of playing in a third consecutive MAC title game. Flash forward a little more than two weeks, and a path for the Rockets has emerged. And it’s not some far-fetched, pie-in-the-sky scenario.
In fact, Toledo has multiple paths to Ford Field. But before the Rockets worry about scoreboard watching, they must first win their final three games — at home against Central Michigan and Ohio, and on the road against Akron two days before Thanksgiving.
