Kelvin Sampson wants to play against quality programs, outstanding coaches, and consistent winners.
So when the Houston coach looked down at this phone last month and saw Tod Kowalczyk was calling, he didn’t hesitate at the impending request.
“As soon as he said, ‘You want to play?’ I said, ‘Yeah, let’s play,’” Sampson said. “It’ll be a great game for Toledo and, hopefully, it’ll be a great game for Houston.”
