The University of Toledo football team got a commitment Thursday from Mansfield High School tight end Clay Caudill for its 2020 class.
Caudill is 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds and is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports.
He also held offers from several Power 5 schools including LSU, Michigan State, Kentucky, and Maryland, as well as Mid-American Conference offers from Bowling Green, Ball State, and Ohio, according to 247Sports.
Caudill is the 17th commit in Toledo’s 2020 class and is the second-ranked player by 247Sports in the class behind wide receiver DeMeer Blankumsee, who is from Cincinnati.
