TOLEDO, OH — Redshirt freshman Hannah Kochendoerfer opened her summer season by winning the first event of the Midwest Collegiate Amateur Series on Tuesday at the Toledo Country Club. Kochendoerfer shot seven-over par 147, including an impressive one-over par 71 in her final 18 holes.
"I'm so excited for Hannah," two-time Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year Nicole Hollingsworth said. "She has worked extremely hard and all of that work is starting to pay off."
A Lambertville, MI native, Kochendoerfer birdied the first three holes of her second round and finished the front nine at four-under par 31.
