KENT, Ohio -- Jimmy Hall had 27 points, Deon Edwin added a career-high 23 and Kent State cruised to an 85-61 win over Toledo on Saturday night.
Edwin was 9 of 12 from the floor, making both of his 3-point attempts and all three of his free throws.
The Golden Flashes (10-9, 2-4 Mid-American Conference) had a 9-0 run capped at 62-37 by Hall's layup with 11:17 left and led by at least 17 the rest of the way.
The Rockets (10-9, 3-3) had their last lead at 14-13 and the Flashes pulled away to lead 38-24 at the half.
