The Golden State Warriors have a roster filled with superstars and several priority signings to make this offseason.
So spending $2 million to move up seven spots in the second round of the draft was evidence of the value Golden State saw in Ryan Rollins.
The former University of Toledo standout became a popular sleeper leading up to the draft, as teams became charmed by his age (19) and nearly 6-foot-10 wingspan. And it didn’t hurt that the 6-foot-4 guard proved adept at scoring with a fluid game that often confounded opponents in two seasons with the Rockets.
