The 3-pointer hasn’t been kind to the University of Toledo this season.
Until Saturday.
A barrage of long-range shots propelled the Rockets past Ohio, 80-65, at Savage Arena.
Toledo was 12 of 24 from 3-point range, with Khera Goss going 5 of 6 on her way to a career-high 23 points.
The Rockets shot 51 percent from the field and made 16 of 18 free throws. They only missed 39 of their 93 2-point, 3-point, and free throw attempts. The performance came days after scoring just 38 points and shooting less than 32 percent at Western Michigan.
