Toledo led 11-2 in the opening minutes. Buffalo started 1-of-9 shooting with four turnovers. And the Rockets had a double-digit halftime lead that was never threatened, cruising to a 87-74 victory.
Four UT players scored in double figures, led by Sam Lewis with 19 points on 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range.
The Rockets shot 45 percent from the field and made 8 of 19 3-point attempts. They outrebounded the Bulls 41-32.
Tyson Dunn scored a game-high 19 points to lead Buffalo, which got within nine points in the final minute.
