CLEVELAND — Here are updates from Thursday’s University of Toledo men’s basketball Mid-American Conference quarterfinal game.
FIRST HALF
After a horrendous first half, top-seeded Toledo trails No. 8 seed Central Michigan 32-20 at halftime.
A 2-3 zone from Central Michigan has the Rockets out of sorts, as UT is shooting 35.5 percent from the field. Toledo settled for 15 3s and made just three of them.
The Rockets didn’t make a basket in the final four minutes of the first half, missing all seven of their shot attempts with three turnovers.
Ryan Rollins leads Toledo with eight points.
