Former University of Toledo cornerback Ka’dar Hollman has never been one to back down from a challenge.
Even with no offers out of high school in New Jersey, Hollman believed he was a college player and sent his film everywhere he could. The only program that bit was Toledo, which offered him a spot as a walk-on.
Hollman worked his way from walk-on to scholarship player to the top shut-down corner on the team and had a productive career at Toledo. Last season he tied for the Mid-American Conference lead with 12 pass breakups.
After he had impressive showings at the East-West Shrine game and Toledo’s pro day, Hollman shot up draft boards and was rewarded when the Green Bay Packers took him with their sixth-round selection of the 2019 draft.
