TOLEDO, Ohio – Four members of the Toledo baseball team earned postseason recognition from the Mid-American Conference, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Junior pitcher Kyle Jones was named First-Team All-MAC, while sophomore pitcher Connor Brandon and freshman infielder Garret Pike were both named Second-Team All-MAC. Sophomore infielder Jeron Williams earned MAC All-Defensive Team honors.
Toledo's Friday ace, Jones is 7-3 with a 3.74 ERA and a school-record 108 strikeouts this season. He has nine games of at least eight strikeouts to his name and he leads the MAC in punchouts, innings pitched (86.
