After former University of Toledo star quarterback Logan Woodside’s initial NFL plans didn’t work out the way he wanted, he found an avenue with a new league that was too good to pass up.
Woodside, who left Toledo with a program record 10,514 passing yards and 93 TDs, got a brief shot with the Cincinnati Bengals after they selected him in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft.
But he was released prior to the NFL season, then spent a short time on the practice squad with the Tennessee Titans.
“It was a good experience for me,” he said.
