University of Toledo big man Javan Simmons isn’t going far.
The former Rocket committed to Ohio University on Monday.
Simmons, a 6-foot-7 redshirt sophomore forward, averaged 12.5 points on 57 percent shooting with 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists last season. He was the Mid-American Conference freshman of the year in 2023-24.
The Central Ohio native was recruited heavily by the Bobcats out of high school but ultimately chose Toledo.
