Former Toledo guard Bryce Ford transfers to Arizona State

Former Toledo guard Bryce Ford is going home.

The Scottsdale, Ariz., native is transferring to Arizona State, becoming the second Rocket join the Sun Devils in the past five years.

Mid-American Conference player of the year Marreon Jackson transferred to Arizona State following the 2020-21 season.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Ford was a standout at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, where he was named the 6A Desert Valley Region offensive player of the Year and was a two-time 6A Desert Valley Region first-team selection.

“I’ve always been a Sun Devil fan,” Ford told ASUDevils.com. “So when [Arizona State assistant] coach [Jereancce] Howard] called me and showed interest, it was kind of natural to decide and come to ASU.
