The last Ohio State-Notre Dame game ended with a Buckeye touchdown on the final play from scrimmage, one of the most iconic sequences in OSU’s illustrious history.
The person who scored that touchdown won’t be in Atlanta for Monday’s rematch in the national championship game. Chip Trayanum will be in Toledo watching the game with his new teammates.
The 5-foot-11, 227-pound running back transferred to UT this month, the last stop on a winding college journey.
“Very seldom (do I think of that play),” Trayanum said. “Only when I may see it come across my phone or a TV screen.
