DETROIT, Mich. – Senior guard Tre'Shaun Fletcher hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift Toledo (5-3) to a dramatic 89-86 victory at Horizon League foe Detroit Mercy (4-5) on Wednesday evening. The win was the Rockets' first road triumph of the season and second in last three contests in Calihan Hall.
"This was a really good road win for us and hopefully this can help us start building some momentum," Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk said. "We didn't started the game very well, but I thought we really played well the final 10 minutes of the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half.
