University of Toledo senior Tre'Shaun Fletcher has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Co-Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Fletcher nearly averaged a double-double last week to help the Rockets extend their winning streak to a season-high five games and expand their lead in the Mid-American Conference West Division to two games. He tallied 17.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Fletcher opened the week by scoring a team-high 18 points, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out four assists in a 91-57 victory at Ohio. He then helped the Rockets to a 72-65 home win over Kent State by putting together a 17-point, 12-rebound, four-assist outing for his eighth double-double of the season.
