The University of Toledo men's basketball team dropped its fourth straight game with a 61-57 road loss at Ball State in the Mid-American Conference opener for the Rockets on Friday night at Worthen Arena.
A prolonged scoring drought in the first half had Toledo (8-6, 0-1 MAC) trailing for much of the game, but the Rockets gave themselves a chance to win down the stretch.
“I thought we started the game really well,” Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said. “We just went through a 10 minute stretch in the first half when offensively we got stagnant. We had some turnovers that got them in transition.
