WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - A steady rain that fell overnight causing the Kampen Course to become unplayable has resulted in the cancellation of Sunday's final round of Purdue's Boilermaker Invitational.
No. 26 Kent State and No. 37 Northwestern finished as tournament co-champions at three-over par 579, while Toledo tied No. 39 Purdue for fourth place at five-over par 581. Junior Duncan McNeill tied for second place at four-under par 140.
The event was the final tournament of the regular season for the Rockets, who will next compete in the Mid-American Conference Championship in Fort Wayne, Ind.
