TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore goalkeeper Emma Boutorwick has climbed the national rankings and is among the top NCAA women's soccer Division I leaders in shutouts.
Boutorwick ranks fourth in Division I in shutouts with nine. Most recently, she recorded back-to-back shutouts against Akron (2-0) on Oct. 21 and at Buffalo (0-0 2OT) on Oct. 24. Her shutouts this season also include Purdue Fort Wayne, Dayton (combined shutout), Oakland, Indiana State, Illinois State, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, and Central Michigan. The Macomb, Mich., native has started in all but one game this season.
