Diontae Johnson Named Ironman of the Miami Game

TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore wide receiver Diontae Johnson was voted the Iron Workers Union No. 55 "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the Rockets' 52-30 defeat at the hands of No. 14 Miami on Sept. 23.

Johnson hauled in a career-high eight catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns against the Hurricanes. Senior quarterback Logan Woodside found Johnson for a six-yard touchdown strike with 9:21 left in the fourth quarter. Less than two minutes later, Woodside and Johnson hooked up again for an eight-yard score on the first play of the drive.
