TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore quarterback Dequan Finn was named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, per an announcement from the league office.
Finn completed 12-of-26 passes for 177 yards and one TD in Toledo's 55-10 victory over UMass on Saturday. He also ran for a team-high 74 yards and a career-high tying two scores, posting rushing TDs of 21 and 15 yards. Finn also had an 18-yard run on fourth-and-six that set up Toledo's first touchdown of the game.
Through two games, Finn has totaled 388 yards passing and three touchdowns and leads the Rockets with 138 rushing yards and three scores.
