CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Toledo softball team had two players named first team all-conference and also received two specialty awards as the Mid-American Conference handed out postseason awards on Tuesday.
Junior Kailey Minarchick and freshman Bailey Curry were both named first-team All-MAC, with Curry also taking home the MAC Freshman of the Year award. Toledo head coach Kristen Butler was also named the MAC Coach of the Year in her fourth season at the helm.
Curry leads the team in most offensive categories including average (.370), hits (60), home runs (13), RBIs (44), walks (27), total bases (105), slugging (.
