KENT, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team made a furious comeback bid in the second half, but the effort fell short as the Rockets were defeated by Kent State, 69-62 in the final game of the regular season at the M.A.C. Center on Saturday.
After Kent State took a 45-26 lead heading into halftime, the Rockets (22-7, 13-5 MAC) stormed back in the second half to get as close as seven in the third.
