AKRON, Ohio – Sophomore and senior led the University of Toledo women's track and field team on day two of the 18th Annual Akron Invitational. Clark finished second in the 800m run, while Karaslan recorded a personal-best 2:13.68 time in the 800m run.
In the blue division, senior Ranya Horner took fourth in the 400m dash with a 59.71, and 13th in the 200m dash where she ran a 26.37. Sophomore Krystle Clark placed second in the 800m run after she ran a 2:17.13, while sophomore was right behind placing third with a time of 2:17.46.
In the blue division field events, Madeline Barns placed second in the pole vault when she reached 3.
