Toledo has its quarterback.
Rockets coach Jason Candle announced Monday that fourth-year sophomore Carter Bradley will start against Norfolk State on Saturday at the Glass Bowl.
“Carter Bradley will start at quarterback Saturday night,” Candle said. “You will see some Dequan Finn also Saturday night. Carter’s had a very good camp. I think Dequan has had a very good camp, as well. Both guys deserve to play, and that’s how we will approach it.
“But I don’t think in Carter’s case or DQ’s case that this is an ongoing competition, and I don't think if you make a bad play that you need to look over your shoulder that you’re going to come out of the football game on the next snap.
