BUFFALO – There was too much Jaret Patterson for the University of Toledo football team to handle as the talented sophomore back for Buffalo accounted for a career-high five touchdowns in the Bulls 49-30 win on Wednesday night at UB Arena.
Patterson had a record-setting night as he rushed 32 times for 192 yards and four rushing touchdowns and added 35 receiving yards and a touchdown through the air. He is the first Mid-American Conference player to score five times in a game since Toledo running back Shakif Seymour did so in 2017 as his five scores ties the MAC all-time record.
