For Ra’Heim Moss, you might call it the biggest shot of his hoops life.
Earlier this week, the freshman on the University of Toledo basketball team received his first dose of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine, making the Rockets men one of the first college sports programs in the nation to have their entire roster inoculated.
“It’s No. 1, no question,” Moss confirmed when asked where the shot ranked.
After wavering on the vaccine, the forward from Springfield said he came around for a few reasons, including his mom’s reassurance — she’s a nurse — and his teammates’ no-sweat experiences.
