The Rockets’ 49-10 dusting of Duquesne on Thursday at the Glass Bowl had it all.

On a soupy but electrified opening night before a crowd of 23,515 — the largest crowd here in five seasons — it was all Toledo, and not just in the way UT handled an overmatched FCS opponent.

I mean, it was a party for the 419, by the 419.

In addition to quarterback Tucker Gleason and his league-best fleet of playmakers, it was the home team’s hometown players who seized the spotlight.
