Toledo, Ohio— University of Toledo outfielder Brad Boss has been named Co-Player of the Week by the Mid-American Conference, the league office announced on Monday.
Boss helped the Rockets to a 3-2 record last week with some stellar hitting. He led the squad with a .400 batting average over the five games and posted a slugging percentage of 1.000 while getting on base at a .625 clip. In his 24 plate appearances over the five games, Boss tallied six hits, five of which went for extra bases, and recorded nine walks.
Boss went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs while walking three times in the 19-8 win over Oakland on April 16.
