Duke assistant coach Jessica Bracamonte was named the head coach of the University of Toledo softball program on Tuesday.
A Michigan State graduate, Bracamonte was part of a Blue Devils program that has gone 110-23 since she joined in 2019. She previously served as assistant coach at Central Michigan, where she earned her master’s degree.
Bracamonte is the 12th head coach in program history. She replaces Joe Abraham, who resigned following the 2022 season.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to the Toledo Rockets family," UT director of athletics Bryan Blair said. "She brings great energy and experience to this role, from being a Big Ten student-athlete to 10-plus years working on very successful Division I coaching staffs.
