Texas Tech won its second Inverness Intercollegiate in four years on Tuesday, finishing with a 1-over-par 853 to top second-place Georgia Tech by six strokes.
Sixteen teams competed in the 54-hole event at Inverness, hosted by the University of Toledo. Oklahoma finished third at 11-over 863, and Virginia was fourth at 12-over 864.
Georgia Tech’s Christo Lamprecht was medalist at 7-under 206. Texas Tech’s Calum Scott finished second at 5-under 208, and Ohio State’s Maxwell Moldovan tied for third with Virginia’s Ben James at 2-under 211.
Toledo, which finished 11th as a team at 37-over 889, was paced by Barend Botha, who finished tied for 20th individually at 6-over 219.
