FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Toledo baseball team sustained a strong offensive attack throughout a 12-5 victory against Purdue Fort Wayne at Mastodon Field on Tuesday.
The Rockets (9-14) took a 7-1 lead with a six-run third inning and added on in the fifth, eighth and ninth innings for a season-high 12 runs scored.. The Mastodons (3-20) did not draw closer than five after the third. Toledo won its third-straight game to tie its longest winning streak of the season.
