TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo senior Barend Botha received First-Team All-Mid-American Conference honors for a fourth consecutive season, the league office announced on Friday.
Botha is only the second player in school history to garner first-team all-league recognition four consecutive years, joining Brad Heaven who was honored from 2001-04. Botha's selection also marks the fifth straight season the Rockets have had at least one first-team honoree under Head Coach Jeff Roope.
A native of George, South Africa, Botha received MAC Golfer of the Year honors for a second season in a row earlier this week.
