VERO BEACH, Fla. – Seniors Barend Botha and Palmer Yenrick both shot a school-record 13-under par 203 to tie for first place on Monday at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational and lead the Toledo men's golf team to a second-place finish. The tournament title is the first for Yenrick in his Rocket career, while Botha captured his third tournament as a collegian.
The Rockets finished in second place as a team at the par-72, 7,350-yard Quail Valley Golf Club with a school-record 54-hole total of 37-under par 827, eight strokes lower than its previous record set in last year at Quail Valley.
