The University of Toledo has added another guard.
Tyler Cochran, who played last season at Ball State, announced on his Twitter account Tuesday that he’s transferring to Toledo. The 6-foot-2 Bolingbrook, Ill., native averaged 11.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 steals for the Cardinals.
Cochran previously played two seasons at Northern Illinois, where he scored 15.5 points per game during the 2020-21 season. He will need to receive a waiver to be eligible for next season since he already used his one-time transfer. Cochran left Northern Illinois and Ball State after the schools fired their head coaches.
